Hi all of you who feed Nature Diet.  Can you tell me if I should add mixer or feed it just as it is.  ND said I could add mixer if I wanted to so as to "pad it out" - this is not my reasoning behind it.

Just wanted a general concensus on this please.

Well I don't feed ND now, but I used to feed it on it's own without a mixer. Mine then got a marrowbone once a week to help keep their teeth clean.

I feed it straight from the pack, no mixer needed.......

I mix it with Burns dry food but it is fine on its own.

Hi Pete - I was going to mix it with a dry food too - I am about 1/4 of the way through a 15kg bag, and didn't want to waste it!  I noticed that lots of people do this, so I'll follow suit.  Thanks for the advice :)

Likewise, I was 1/4 through a bag of JWB when we switched Barley to Naturediet.
We used half the recommended amount of ND and half the amount of JWB, once it is used up we will feed ND alone

i feed half naturediet and half JWB,although both foods are complete,thats just how my pooch likes it and of course it goes further.

My dogs loved Nature Diet at first now they wont touch it, they will only eat JWB chicken wings and tripe, its a shame cos i have a cupboard full of ND, oh well maybe i'll try them again in a few weeks

My 3 have naturediet mixed with Burns they love it!!

mine loved it for a couple of weeks then they went off it tried mixing it but they just pick the biscuit out and leave the ND

as i said in my last post here, my dogs have gone off nature diet and im now feeding them on raw and JWB anyway i  had quite a lot of ND left in the cupboard so had an idea, mixed some ND with their usual tripe and they scoffed the lot, so pleased about that :D

my friends rottie is fed nature diet with burns, because he's faddy and won't eat burns on its own. But then his mum has always put nature diet / frozen tripey stuff / cooked chicken etc to his food, so why would he?????

you can feed it as a sole food though, but mine doesn't like it. She's an arden granger!
