hi please someone help me, i have a litter of puppies they where a week yesterday but one pup wont stop screaming today. she only started screaming earlier today. but all others are quiet and happy. she is one of the biggest pups so not weak but she wont drink much today, only suckles for a few seconds. please some one help. the litter is kept warm. what could be wrong cause all others are fine.
It might have what one of mine had earlier in the week which was colic. Is he holding his little paws tight against his belly? I didnt actually try this but other posters suggested a small amount of infacol.
If it was me I would have taken him down the vets just to be on the safeside. Mine had two shots of morphine to help him out as the noise was terrible but he is now fine. Fingers crossed it is nothing more serious.

Is the puppy being tolieted by it's mother?
You could try getting a cotton ball moist and gently stroke it's areas and see if it will do the toliet.
Could be a bit constipated.
Take the pup to the vets better to be safe then sorry, i'd imagine they are like human babies, trial and error. After you've tried the suggestions the others have posted and the pup is not to hot or cold and there not working, take it straight the vet.
Warm regards Susan
