Hi Everyone

I have a bitch that is due now to have puppies.  The scan was negative and she was checked at the vets yesterday and told she is not pregnant but the vet nurse said yes she is look at her rib cage its huge.

What my question is has anyone out there had a pregnant bitch hold puppies high like this and what was the outcome.

I must admit i am 50/50 she is an extremly fit bitch but no other signs of pregnancy

Some bitches carry the pups high - but even so if she's in whelp the pups should have been picked up on the scan & she should have been rescanned a week later to be sure.
