OK you guys, it's back to work day for me today :D First time for high-heeled shoes again as well ;)
Last time I turned my back on you, mayhem broke out

- so be good!
Otherwise I shall have to sprinkle more chill-out dust everywhere again.....
I might be able to peek in at some time during the day - just depends what's been piling up on my desk!

Work was absolutely fine - busy - as I expected - another half dozen lunch dates arranged with peeps that I won't see after I leave :( - so that means that there are ANOTHER half dozen days I have to blag a lift to the station 'cos I might just imbibe a glass or four of ribena and shouldn't drive back in the evening ;)
However, the evening was a completely different kettle of fish........ I decided that I would go to ringcraft as I did feel kn***ered, and was looking forward to an evening with my feet up.
The girls had different ideas though - as usual, Vinnie & Loki being the current housedogs, we let them out into the garden as I put the kettle on for the much-needed coffee before walking. Before the kettle had boiled, the little s*ds had disappeared - the racket from the kennels alerted us "we're telling on you two - boss, mum quick - V & L have gone out of the garden!!!"
Nik had left a couple of large bags of his garden rubbish at the bottom of the garden, in his "gardening" bit - and they'd just jumped fro the top of those over the top of the fence! Couldn't see them at all - so we split - Adrian over the golf course, me over the fields - not a sign. Al came downfor ringcraft with Kealie - he took Beau but left Kealie, so then there were 3 of us searching - got the car out went right round the "outside of the area - villages in a5 mile radius - no sign. Back home, Ad kept getting reports from golfers of seeing them "over the back" - but at least they weren't bothering the golfers :D - Kealie & I got back, started looking over the pits and, at 8.30, found Loki, half a mile from home, drinking out of "Purdey's puddle". She was exhausted, wanted to go home, but we kept her on a lead, and kept looking for Vinnie. Eventually brought her home - she almost shut the door on the porch herself, she was so glad to get in. She's muddy, absolutely covered in goosegrass, but otherwise ok.
I took the car out again, making another sweep of the roads - no good. At 9.45, came home, phoned police & dog warden. Just then, Al came back down - and there, sitting on the front doorstep, waiting to come in, was Madam Vinnie!! Again, covered in mud and goose grass!
Sighs of relief all round - tried not to fuss them too much, nor yet tell them off too much (after all, want coming home to be a "good thing"). So it was 10 o'clock before I got my cup of coffee - far too late to contemplate cooking so, after a toasted cheese sarnie & an apple, I went to bed!!!!
Guess what? There will be a change of "house-dogs" today!!!:D :D
