Hi people

i am fairly new to the dog show world, how do i get my dog qualified for crufts? What does she need to become a champion? e.g. how many cc's required?

To qualify for crufts you need to gain a top 3 place in certain classes at championship shows where CC's are on offer for your breed (unless your a rare breed)  To become a Show Champion you need 3 CC's :)

If you do a search on this forum it has been discussed many times.

The 3 CC's also have to be from 3 different judges :D

And doesn't at least one have to come after the dog is 12 months? NOt sure, someone tell me! :)

and you can qualify if you win a best in show at any group or general open show!

what about limit shows ? or is that wishful thinking lol :)

Best in Show Res Beat in Show Best & Puppy in Show at open shows(including Group Open shows)Also Best of Breed  if more than 3 classes scheduled(for Band E breeds if more than 5 classes scheduled) at Premier Open Shows

Sorry no win at any Limited show qualifiies your dog(Although a person who went BIS at our last show has told everyone she has & it's even been in her local paper !)
