is it ok for puppies to eat vegtables? and what kind are best> thanks

my 5 month old one does. Peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower etc. All my girls eat veg and fruit, though not grapes or raisins.

Yes grapes are raisins are poisonous. Onions are also poisonous but most dogs won't eat them. I also heard the apple pips are bad for them as well. Someone correct me if I am wrong. My puppies love carrot and red pepper! :D

I haven't heard about apple pips - my dogs often have my apple core :)

I don't know if it is true but im sure I heard that apple pips ferment in their stomach

Apple pips contain cyanide.

apple pips do contain a cyanide substance but the amounts needed to cause a problem are huge, the body can detoxify small amounts, also they have a thick outer skin so usually pass through the body undigested.
