Hi all, I am new to this site. I have a 2 and a half year old beautiful girl, Kirra. She is expecting and is at 64 days.
It is such a nerve racking time. I am constantly watching and waiting...more watching, more waiting and so on. She has been having the  small stringey clear discharge for about 2 days, no panting yet and a little nesting but nothing serious. No real temperature drop yet.
This her first litter, but with previous litters of other bitches I have owned, some do the nesting thing in a big way and others take it all in their stride and seem to do little.
Hopefully I will be back on here soon with some good news for you all!!

Wish us luck...

Thanks for the replies guys..
Kirra is a Admin: BREED REMOVED.
We are at day 65 and I am sure it wont be long now. This morning she wont go out to relieve herself..I am going out in a minute to try again. She also wont have breakfast..She really isnt that large, so I am expecting a smaller litter, maybe 5? But she still looks very uncomfortable.
I am growing so very anxious...It is a worrying time. I am thinking of taking her to the vets for a check this afternoon if nothing has happened.

Well done Labs...you must be very excited..and very exhausted..Congratulations!!!!!
Hopefully wont be long..fingers crossed.

Back again for a quick question. I said in my earlier post that I cant get her to go relieve herself after not doing so since last night at about 11pm...is that a problem do you think? Also since my last post about 15 mins ago she has swollen considerably and is losing more fluid..Ohhhhhh I am getting excited but a little worried about the toilet thing..

The toilet thing is normal, they have pressure from the pups moving down and think they need to wee, they squat as though weeing but nothing comes out.

I'm sure it won't be long now.  Good luck!

Hi Sandra..I think I didnt explain myself properly..
I cant even get her to go outside to attempt to pee. She has no interest in doing anything other than lying down. This is unsual in itself as Huskies are Hyperactive (to a point) dogs. When I go outside she is always rushing to come with me, but I cant even get her to come outside. She looks at me like "yeah right sunshine, I am not budging".

Ahhh the joys of it all hey..

Soon, hopefully soon

I am at my wits end.. Nothing happening..nada..zip...zilch... She has gone to the loo and thats all working fine now. She is actually pretty active this afternoon.

I am the one who is restless and panting in anticipation..lolol..

Ohh well, cant be too far away..SURELY

HI Dawson..It is frustrating isnt it?
The only advice I can give is that if you are concerned to call your vet. I have been up all night ( 9am in australia) as my bitch was panting and very clingy but that only lasted for 2 hours then she settled down to go to sleep.

Best of Luck

HI all. Just giving a update. Kirra seems to be nesting tonight. I took her for a loo break earlier and after she was finished I noticed a very long (about 30cms) clear string hanging from her privates.... I couldnt believe how big it was. She seems to be off her food. She looks like she wants to eat and has a bite then walks around just looking at the food.

I am sooo tired from spending the last few nights having no sleep.
I hope to have something to report tomorrow

hi ya all its now day 65 and she doesnt want to go out shes just sleeping at mo were constantly watching shes also quivering do u think we should leave her till tomoz

I think that is impossible for anyone to say over the internet, dawson, if you have concerns you should contact your vet who will be able to ask the relevent questions over the phone and make a professional judgement as to whether an examination if necessary.
