Good morning - since I was 8 I have loved the breed but I was never allowed a dog. I am now 39 and have a daughter of 9 who also loves the breed and we are in a position to give a bitch a loving home.  We have read all the books and feel capable of looking after a minature schnauzer.  Please could you send me details of any breeders who have puppies ready at the moment or within the next few months - we live in Durham but are willing to travel, within reason for the puppy's sake!  Preferably a black and silver bitch.

Quality breeders are unlikely to contact you in this way as they will generally have a list of vetted owners already waiting.  You're best bet of obtaining a well bred healthy puppies is to get yourself onto one of these waiting list via the breed club:
