He is 22" and weighs 85lbs.  I'm curios how much yours weigh.  We don't
want his weight to get out of control.

My oldest bitch is overweight and she's 56lb.The other 2 are  43lb and 44lb

That does sound an awful lot for a springer (though they are not my breed) - my male Malamute is just over a year old and he only weighs 82lbs (he's approx 25 - 25 1/2" at the shoulder).
