I'm glad it has worked out for you :)  No-one is in a better position than the owner in conjunction with her regular vet to assess whether a bitch is in suitably strong physical condition to whelp around that age bracket.  I'm glad the KC rule is in place for the protection of bitches owned by unscrupulous breeders but equally glad that they see fit to assess each case on its merits.  Good luck to you and very best wishes for a successful outcome to your mating, Teri ;)
