Hi
Before you leave England it's advisable to make sure you know where the microchip is incase it has moved and that your dogs passport is all in order.
you don't have to do anything on the outward journey but you do need to visit a vet between 24 and 48 hours before your check in time on return for your dog to have the tick & tapeworm treatment.
There is a pet passport office near the check in for the tunnel, it's well signposted.
The best thing is to be well organised before you leave by knowing what vet you will use in the country your visiting and making sure you get the times right for the treatments, it is VERY IMPORTANT they are strict about this.
If you need anymore info you can PM me.
Have a good trip

Hi
I know what you mean, we paid £134 for the vehicle and 3 passengers on the ferry and £180 for the 5 dogs and they're not even allowed out of the vehicle!! and then another £100 at the vets. It's an expensive game.
Anyway I'm glad evrything went ok and it will be easier next time now you know how it works.
