On avarage how much would a spaniel puppy cost, not intended to be used to breed or show

When I was looking for one they ranged from £500+ depending on area.

£350 for a bitch and £300 dog if you are looking at working strain.

I paid £500 for both my working and show type.  Was I dunn?! :eek: :D

It varies a great deal around the UK generally decreasing in a northly direction :)  I would say £350 would be an absolute minimum for a decent, show type (although not necessarily show prospect) pup in the North of Scotland rising to £500 or even £550 in the home counties.

My sister payed £450 for a show strain, but not show quality.
