my 11 month old weim has spent the last few days chasing catching flies in the house! it is very entertaining and gets rid of them but she is going to wreck the house!! she ghas already been up on my computer desk!!! big mess!! to be fair today she is listening to no and wait! she is having the best time, and its really tiring her out! hope she doesnt do it with bees tho! anyone elses dog got this strange habit?!! do they get bored of it!!!!!

our old collie bitch became obsessed with this to the point of just sitting watching for a fly, and we used to have to distract her, with other things and games .

my 13mth sbt is obcessed with anything thats small and flies hes a swine for bees not been stung yet though (touch wood) he'll know about it if he does and im sure he'll let me know.... bloody wimp!! lol

no they dont grow out of it! it gets worse ! even stung tongues dont stop them!

bubbles are great too!! he does sumersaults to catch them!

Bubbles are fantastic!  All the thrill of the chase with none of the getting bored with bringing the ball back!  Although you look a loon in the park from a distance, waving your arms about like some overgrown fairy...

My dog is currently chasing butterflies.  Everyone at my local park will LYNCH me if she catches one..
