In litters of pups that are the same size and colours, does anyone have any ideas what I can do to know which one is which. Someone said use nail varnish or cut different marks out of their fur. I don't really want to do this, Is there anything on the market that is safe that I could buy.
I use drops of Tippex on the tails in different positions. You have to renew it every week or so, but it's not obtrusive, and comes off easily when the pups are homed.
with my puppies, which were white, i`ve used a little spot of food colouring, dabbed on top of their heads. you can get differant colours. it fades away. :-)
I would be vary wary about putting anything around pups necks, could be dangerous. I always use Tippex too.

Easy-peasy with Aussies :D :D :D
...bit different with labs though - so sprayed each of them with lamb spray - 1 dot, 2 dots, 3 dots etc - worked - and by the time they were old enough to leave home, the spray had almost worn off!
