Hi my dog jack has been vomiting now for two days on the run, what could have caused this? The sick is black and smells like sour milk. (Sorry if you all have weak stomachs) Usually when he vomits its because he has eaten grass so we have no idea whether he could have ate something in the garden? Any ideas? Thankyou!

Sorry, I couldn't hazard a guess as to what's making your dog vomit.  I would take him to the vet straight away.  Good luck

A vet opinion/ treatment is a matter of urgency. You can never be too careful where health is concerned.

Your dog must be dehydrated by now, which in severe circumstances can lead to death :(  Please see your Vet immediately and let us know how you get on.

Good Luck

I agree vets right away. Dogs go down hill so fast. I remember my Akita she was 6 months old, she was being sick and just generally ill. Thinking she might pick up I thought Id just give her 1 more day.
Wrong descision. The next day she was really ill. Couldnt believe the difference in such a short time.
We took her to the vets, she was put on a drip over night and it was touch and go.
They never knew the reason behined this. They said it looked very much like parvo but shed had the vaccine months before.
The main thing is she pulled through and was back to her old self in no time.

Thankyou all on your replies, he hasnt been sick today and seems in good health he's playing around and eating. If this continues we will take him straight away. Thanx again.
