I am trying to find a supplier of a dog toilet (one that can be buried in the ground and chemicals added to dispose of the waste). I know they exist, because I saw Alan Titchmarsh install one on a Ground Force program, but unfortunately no supply details were given. I have tried searching the web but no joy!
I would appreciate any help on this, because with two GSD's we are in danger of drowning in dog poo!

Try the pet section at Focus Do it all, that's where my parents got theirs from. Also Pets@Home would probably do them.
Hope this helps,

I must say, I tried one years ago but did not have much success with it. The only thing I will say is that our ground is not very free draining so maybe that didn't help. :(

I can only speak from personal experience, but I would say, don't waste your money! If you have more than one dog it will struggle to cope. Totally useless.

I totally agree with Leigh
I had one and it was worse than useless dug it out (phew)
and chucked it away
low and behold what did i win a fortnight
later..................................................................................another dog loo,its upstairs never even taken out the box

Have to agree with Leigh on this one. If there is more than one dog they really do struggle. I remember my mother bought one for her two and soon gave it up. Do you have a downstairs loo? I flush all my dog poo down the toilet.... it is what they were designed for after all ;-)

OK if you own just one toy dog and your soil is very, very well drained, if not forget it. JH

I agree with Jackie- with two GSD's you'd better get s**t shovelling or drown:D :D :D :D
Don't you know anyone with allotments or a keen gardener- where you could blag it as manure:D :D

I bag it and bin it! If you have to pick it up to put it in the dog loo then you might as well pick it up and put it in the bin.
I think my dustmen have stopped opening the lid of my wheelie! :D

Hi
I agree with everyone else. Bought one and within a few weeks dug it up. It was absolutely useless. Now I triple bag it and put it with the rubbish. The dustmen (bless them) have never complained or left my rubbish.
Carol :D
