Can anyone recommend an anti-static grooming spray or other product for fine flyaway coat ?
Also, I would like to start feeding my dogs a more natural diet but I'm worried that they might swallow chicken wings whole or maybe choke on them. Should I start them off with chunks of raw meat first to see if they chew it properly?

I like Tea Tree Oil Dry Grooming Spray. It smells lovely and has a natural insect repellent quality. I also have Shaws Coat Oil which is really nice but has to be used really sparingly as the coat goes really greasy if you overdo it :(. I don't use them together.
If you are concerned about the chicken wings then mince them and put your mind completely at rest. Any butcher should mince them for you if you haven't got the means yourself. You could always give them chunks of another meat to chew on and large raw marrowbones that they can't swallow.

I have found that shaws coat dressing which is watewr based is good diluted about 1 part product to thre parts water! It stops the static, cleans a bit and makes grooming easier! Used to use it on the Belgian shepherd! The Elkhounds don't seem to get the static mush.
