we have a 6 yr old bulldog and looking to breed him does anyone have a nice bitch and know all about this??

Please read the top post on the breeding page.

Then you will see from this that responsible breeders will have the choice of the best dogs in the country, so if yoru boy is nice then you will need to prove this to the bitch owners by showing him against his rivals to get their attention :D

Have to say 6 years old is a bit late to be starting as a stud :) You'll still need all the reccomended health tests for the breed done or no responsible person will be interested.
There are actually no breed health tests that are recommended for Bulldogs :-( but I think there should be really.

I would agree that Hip and Eye testing would seem sensible (though of course the eye test only covers the ey and not the structures aroudn it) and heart testing would seem sensible, as thye appear to be rather shortlived.
I agree brainless, not sure why they don't test, they just don't. The heart and hip testing would be beneficial I am sure. :-)
