My friend has got in her room a baby blue tit but doesn't know what to feed it.  Does anyone here know what they should eat?

Now off to help her search on internet but not having much luck except catapillers...How do you find them!!!!

Try getting greenfly off the roses, and feed, using tweezers!

Good luck - I remember my brother rearing a whole nest of sparrows when a cuckoo kept chucking them out - they were all called Oscar - I think 1 actually survived!

Thanks Margot...her next door neighbors cat has just had a raw meat meal freshly killed :(  She has now adopted it and can't get hold of her vet.  She loves her birds (breeds chickens!)  I couldn't take in a bird.. I'm scared of them!

3-6 month milupa baby food in vegatable!!!!!!!
mixed till sloppy and use a pipet . Hand fed quite a few baby birds like that. BUT its keeping it at the right temperature that is the problem, and shock. unfortunatly most die from either of these conditions.:( :( Unfortunatly I think she will be trying to win a loosing battle. But if it gets through the night, get some powdered baby food and try that.

I'm not surprised you have been pood on 4 times - milk can cause scouring in birds - especially baby birds!  The young of Blue Tits need caterpillars and larvae
