3 months ago I bought a 2 and a half year old Dalmatian bitch.  She had spent most of her life living in kennels. She has settled beautifully but I am worried about her eating habits - despite her well balanced diet, she will eat nearly anything. I have to move bowls of fruit etc, some plastic articles that she chews and yesterday she even ate a vase of flowers! (scented stock) I am worried about this in case she has some internal problems. Any advice will be appreciated

This is a very common breed trait - they're well known for eating anything that might possibly be edible! They're very good at teaching owners to be tidy and put everything away!

Pehaps we should get a dalmatian then ;)
