i have a 2 year old weimaraner and want to put him up for studd but dont know how he is kc registered and lovely temprement is there any one out there willing to help

Have a read of the first post on the Breeding forum of this site.

He will have had to have passed all the breed-relevant checks for hereitary conditions (not just a general check by your vet) which involves x-rays etc, and should be independently assessed as being a good example of his breed.

Then you will need to get him out to where reputable bitch owners can see him (that means the showring or the field trials) so that they can see how he compares to the rest of the males, as it is the bitch owners who choose which male will best suit their bitch from the top males around.
