Vitamin B can be used to calm nervous dogs did brilliantly for one of my dogs a few years ago.

Also it's used for a pick me up aswell if the dog is very layed back.  They do the same in horses.

Warm regards Susan

Vitamin B12 is used in prolonged cases of the squits, which strips B12 from the body.

Anemia is usually the first sign of B12 deficiency,it's usually not advisable to supplement with 1 single source of VitB,Bcomplex is usually the best bet as all the B vitamins work together,in nature these vitamins do not occur as isolated entities but rather as part of the entire B vitamin complex,Bcomplex, especially B1 and B6, is often given to anorexic pets or too boost a poor appetite,B12 like other B vitamins is needed for metabolism of proteins, fats and carbs. It is also useful in stopping poop eating

I would be really interested to find out why you want to supplement with just B12 :)

My oldie Min has just been put on Vi-Sorbin as a pick me up to see if it can give her a boost as she has really slowed down and is not always able to get outside to poo :( This has B12 as the main ingredient. We shall see if it works , lets hope so :)
