My OH and i are have an aggravating debate!!

Can you please help clarify this for him. I wont tell you my view as he'll think i swayed you over to my side

So the question is: Which colour is more slimming.... BLACK or WHITE? He thinks that colour Dark Blue makes you look Bigger!

Can you please keep your answers as short as possible as he is reading challenged and wont bother reading long replies  :p

Thanks :)

Blacks more slimming.

Although Must say dark blue isn't my choice of colours for looking my best, it doesn't have the same apeal.  My pink trakkie (chav outfit) is also slimming but I think thats because of the style!

Generally darker colours are more slimming, but I think it would also depend on the style and cut of the clothes,i.e. an expensive well made white suit could look better on the 'larger' figure than loose or ill fitting darker clothes :D :D

Hi ,

Dark colours are more slimming as they draw you in making you look slimmer.

Paler colours if you have a more rounded figure draw more attention to this and make you appear larger.

Def.....  Black, black, black or  brown, brown, brown

Yep that is what my wardrobe consists of and jeans boot legs.

I am big, the lighter the colour, the bigger i feel. My hubby thinks I'm a practising goth :D

And mum has just bought me a peach t shirt, shes sick of seeing me in black and brown she says, Im boring.

Im over 30 for gawds sake. IF I DONT WANT TO WEAR LIGHT COLOURS I WONT :D

Just remember something I was told by a lab exhibitor once when I asked why blacks always seem slimmer the yellows and was it because of line they were bred and I was informed that with the exception of ultra fat yellows and ultra thin blacks it's al the same size just an optical illusion! :)  Think of it in terms of dogs and you'll never be wrong! :D

(BTW I don't know if it's true!)
