I have been asked today if £600 is about the right price for a Llasa Apso pup as a chap at work's girlfriend is thinking of buying one.  My own dogs are rescues so I don't know all the ins and outs of buying from a breeder but I know most breeds should have certain health tests done and would like to know what they are for this breed.  Also any advice to my friend to make sure they are getting a pup from a good breeder??

hi guest,
i would say you'd be looking to pay no more than 5 hundred for a puppy and mum and dad should be eye tested clear for pra which is a test done on a yearly basis .

If they go through the breed club/s for a referal to a reputable breeder they should be more likely to get a typical puppy and it will be bred in line with th4e accepted breeding ethics within that breed, here I mean age of first litter, how many litters, which health tests, age at sale etc which can vary from breed to breed.
