my bitch gave birth to 8 lovely babys on saturday (21st) but from last night she seems like she doe'nt wast to spend time with them, she goes into the welp box to feed them a few times a day but they seem to cry alot, i have to take her back to the whelp box but she will only stay in for about 5/10 mins then gets back out and lets them cry, any help please?

Will she stay with them if you stay?  It is important that she keeps them warm, clean and well fed at this age. She also needs to make sure they are having a 'pee & a poo'.
My bitch would only stay of someone was with her, if left, she wanted to come and left her babies alone, which meant sleeping with her too.  Some bitches take time to get used to being a mother.

Also have you checked her teats for mastitisous, if she has this she wont to feed the pups because it would hurt.  If you have sectioned her off away from the family she might wont to be with uses aswell so make sure she can see everything whats going on but her den/whelping box is safe and secure.
