Hi i have a Chihuahua who is two years old. I was just after some advice really. Recently she seems to have become really attached to one of her toys and takes it everywhere with her. Is this just the motherley instinct coming out? Just really after some information. She is ok and everything but just out of interest? As you can tell this is my first dog! Thanks

hi,i have a chihuahua and he has a little fluffy cow teddy that he used to take everywhere with him but he has stopped that now although he still loves to play with it,i dont think is anything to be worried about,i guess it is her motherly instict!

Was she perhaps in season a couple of months ago? If so she's having a phantom pregnancy, I'd say.

Yeah i thought that too Nursey, if it is a phantom take the toy from her and dont pamper her, she will get over it faster.

Warm regards Susan
