Hi Mav
Take a look on staffords.co.uk site as they list all the shows for the year throughout the country

or try prodogs.net as they will list general shows too :)

Any more info just ask :D

How did you get on at the Ringcraft? Did you go to the one in Wilmington??

Theres a show in May at Towerlands which is in Braintree, Im showing my girl there for the first time.
Its on the 2nd May. Maybe try and come there???
We can be the two novices!

Hi towerlands is a equestrian arena, in braintree
- By Mav [gb] Date 18.03.05 21:07 UTC
how do you enter and what class for my pup????
- By staffyman [gb] Date 18.03.05 21:11 UTC
You can get a schedule from chelmsford & district canine society, and you could enter into puppy class as there isn't a minor puppy class at this show

Just purchased Staffy, and guess what? Hes from Valglo Albertini and his grandparent is Cassanova!
- By jelajo [gb] Date 25.05.05 20:27 UTC
He certainly is living up to his name!!!! Made me chuckle.....

god!  Yet another out of Casanova!  Did u get him/her from Jo and Bill, sherwoodbaggies?
- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 26.05.05 09:12 UTC
Wow he does get around! amazing!
- By stanlib [gb] Date 29.05.05 13:16 UTC
Hehehe  my bitch is also out of vinnie (casanova)
- By Goldstaff [gb] Date 01.06.05 14:52 UTC
If everyone who owns a Staffy out of Cassanova wrote on this message board I think it would make the server crash.  He is an extremely busy lad!  It will be interesting in the next 3 -4 years to see the problems that people will enounter when it comes to trying to cross the breed lines.
- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 01.06.05 15:42 UTC
I've spoke to people at my Ringcraft class and they have all said the same thing!

I've been advised if I breed from my bitch to stay away from Crossgun bred dogs...
- By archer [gb] Date 01.06.05 16:06 UTC
I beleive he's sired something like 300 litters + hasn't he
Archer
- By ClaireyS Date 01.06.05 16:36 UTC
so if his owner charged the price of a pup, say £400 for each mating they would have made over 120,000
- By archer [gb] Date 01.06.05 16:46 UTC
Good for his pocket...wether its good for the breed will be seen in time
Archer
- By lola [gb] Date 01.06.05 17:32 UTC
can i ask why you've been advised to stay away from croosgun breeding if you breed your bitch?   as casanova is valglo breeding, not crossguns
- By Loganberry [gb] Date 01.06.05 17:45 UTC
Is that possible for a dog to sire 300 litters? seems rather a lot, its a wonder it didnt kill him off!!
- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 02.06.05 11:08 UTC
I may have made a mistake there, I was just told if I bred her to breed with something not related to Cassanova..

I honestly dont know enough about it to say why??? I think its because it limits the gene pool or something, this was just something I was told...

I know nothing about breeding dogs so I cant really explain it Im afraid
- By kerrieddbx [gb] Date 02.06.05 12:40 UTC
Actually the stud fee is more in the region of £250 not £400, and he hasnt sired THAT many litters :) I have a pup by him too, and IF I ever decided to breed her there would be plenty of other dogs she could be bred to, still within her lines, but discounting the Valglo element. I agree he has been used too much, but I doubt it will affect the gene pool too much, I believe the majority of pups will have gone to 'pet' homes. There are plenty of other studs producing quality pups now ;)
