Anyone know why my 2 yr olds staffie's skin has changed?
Her skin was normal in colour and now it has lots of black patches... She looks almost like a dalmation.
It has really only happened since she was speyed.

sounds like it could be hormonal changes brought on by speying or it could just be colouration that is just appearing.  I saw a Staffy just like this at a champ show recently, looked like a faded dalmation :) very strange sight :D

As a Bedlington owner I'm used to my dogs changing colour regularly :) :D

What colour was she originally?

She was originally red and white.
Even her underneath is now dark...
She really does look strange

That is strange, perhaps she should see the vet (or you could call them - cheaper) just to put your mind at rest :)

We have been to the vets.. She had a full blood test which came back normal. I must say she has been very quiet recently and not eating as much.. But as i saad all her tests came back within the normal range.

our Giorgia is 15months old and is white apart from a red eye/ear and she has lots of little black/red patches over her. As she has got older they have increased and some are under the top coat so they look faded. She is a stunner though and we often joke that her dad wasnt the milkman but the dalmation

Beau really does look like shes related to the local dalmation! Her black patches were very faint but now they arent, very visable!

Sometimes when Giorgia is lying on her back we try and count the dots on her belly, too many! Fortunately we love the dots . I'm sure your Beau is fine and gorgeous as well. As humans get older our freckles increase so perhaps its the same with staffs.

Of course i love Beau just the way she is... its just she looks so strange!
She could be pink with blue spots and i wouldnt care a bit!
