If I gave my 1 year old male a Tardak injection, would it stunt his growth? I am wondering as I know it mimics castration and I am not looking to have him castrated until he is 2 - 3 and fully grown. It is due to our female being in season and he is working himself up (even though they are in a separate parts of the house) not for agression or other reasons. Our female still has another 2 - 3 weeks left of her season and I can get the injection done for him tomorrow to see if it makes a slight difference. I have tried herbal remedies but nothing appears to calm him down at all. It is not possible for him to stay with anyone until she has finished as the person I trust to leave them with is away for 3 weeks.
