You should be looking for the best possible mate for your bitch...not just whos owner is willing!.Your bitch and the stud should both be hip and elbow scored and eye tested with satisfactory results. You should then research your bitches lines to assess any heriditary faukts within them and should be seeking a male who is strong in the areas which you bitch lacks in.
If your bitch is not shown or worked with good results then she should not be bred from....there are many thousands of labs bred every year with thousands ending up in rescue and if you are not breeding to improve on the breed then you shouldn't be breeding at all.A nice temperament, wanting a pup from her,she needs to have a litter, educating the kids of breeding for fiancial gain or any of many other 'reasons' for breeding a litter is not enough.

I think you may have to do a bit more research before even considering breeding, as it seems you do not even know the colour of your Labrador. No such thing as a Golden Labrador.
Im sorry guest but i have to agree with them find out ALOT more about breeding, being responsible and then consider this.

You dont even say you want a health tested dog. This is why so many Labs end up in animal shelters...because people do not do enough research before breeding. Please think again.
