You go to a super market and put things in your trolly, then you empty out your stuff at the till, then you have to pack all the stuff in there rubbish carrier bags and into trolly yet again.
Then you load up your car to go home and when home you unload your car and take in to house.
When in house you empty the bags and put your stuff away in cupboards ect.

Just wears you out reading about it lol.
I should buy on line shouldnt i lol.

I've certainly considered shopping on-line. I've registered with the supermarket site, but I'm just a little hesitant to take the plunge. :)

I shop at Asda's. the one by us is a wall mart store now.
Its very good.
The only thing that puts me off about shopping on line, is if they dont have what you wanted they give you a different item.
Plus you cant try the clothes on, on line lol. :)

I also shop at asda all the time... as i used to shop at tesco's and have it delivered but on 1 occassion i odered some fresh choclate eclairs and when they were delivered with my shopping they were off.... so i rang tesco and was told that if i wanted some more delivered to me that i would have to pay £5 for the delivery driver to bring me some more out... as i couldn't get to the shop that day.

Then on the following day i took them back in to the store with my reciept and they refused to exchange them as they said that we should of eaten them on the day of purchase!!! And the sell my date was the date that they were delivered... and they didn't believe me when i explained that they were off when i got them.

I also had the same problem with a mouldy block of cheese that i bought from tesco.

So i won't shop anywhere else now.... only asda
:-D :-D :-D

I haven't had any of the problems that justlou describes.  At Christmas I received cream and sausages that didn't have a sell-by date long enough to use them on the day I wanted.  I phoned the helpline and they credited my account without question.  If ever I am not satisfied, I phone and tell them.  This is the only way they can respond to customer gripes and have always done so favourably.

It takes a while to get used to on-line shopping.  Don't try it once and then give up.  It gets easier and much quicker each week and you get to know the delivery driver!   All I need to do is persuade them to bring the bags into the kitchen (which I can't) to save me lugging them from the hall which is some distance from the kitchen!

I use Tescos once a month for most of my household stuff abotu 70%, 20 %  at Sainsburys and 10% I get a M&S which I work beside.#

I have found Tescos delivery service really good 100%.. Anything I have thought suspect in the date I call them up and they have credited to me no probs.

I find shopping on line great with Tescos.  But you do need to fill in the notes eg if you have your shopping delivered on Thursday and want cream for Sunday you can say that.  You also need to put in what your alternative choice is in the notes or whether you don't want an alternative - otherwise they will try and substitute themselves and it isn't always what you wanted.  I have had one or two minor problems but a quick phone call or email and the cost has been credited to me with no problems.

Hi,

I thought about shopping online with Tesco however Asda is so much cheaper especially when shopping for 7 :-O Asda quality is just as good as Tesco.

Bottom line Tesco is just too expensive to do our monthly or fortnighhtly shop there,we only use Tesco occasionally just to pick up a few items.

I just wish Asda was avialable online where we are.

Keep checking, Briony - Asda are delivering further and further out all the time!  If you sign up to their website, they will let you know when they are delivering to your postcode.
