Last night Amber passed her kennel club good citizen award bronze test, shes only been going to the gsd club 4wks and shes coming on so well, so i thought id have a brag!
Well done :) I'm hoping to put Idõ in for his at Nat Gundog, so watch this space :D Are you going onto Silver and Gold?

Id like to do silver and gold but Ambers really nervous so getting her tobe handled by strangers needs a awful lot of work

Well done you two!! :-) we have just started the bronze award with our rottie pup and the others in the class looked abit shocked when we walked in with him. He's the youngest in the class (18wks) but can do everything they can :-)
Go for it :D There was a story in DW a few months ago about a pup outon her first walk at 13 weeks who past her bronze! They were holding the tests in her local park and someone commented that her pup wouldn't be able to do it...so she went and showed then she could :)
Idõ is almost 6 months and I reckon he can do most of the bronze stuff......but then I would say that :D We don't go to training tho, only for ringcraft, but I love training all our dogs, its gresat teaching them new things and if you can both be awarded for the effort then all the better!

Congratulations Amber !Good grief that story about the 13 week puppy gives me food for thought. Trio is 9 weeks now and is just learning to sit. Doing all the socialising, house training, play manners etc takes loads of time.
