My girl has had stringy discharge this morning, shes on day 63 and been ressless all day yesterday and sleeping heavly last night. shes been out in the garden trying to have a poo but only a small amout can out. her hemp went down to 36.6 about 24 hours ago. i was just wondering if it would be much longer for her to have her pups? Thanks for any advice you's give me, paula turner

Hi Paula, I think it's imminent.

What ever you do do not leave her alone, and always watch her when she goes out in the garden as she could have a puppy out there, I once had a bitch that had one while she was walking to the car to go to the vets as she hadn't had a pup for four hours and it just slipped out, so be on guard.

Also make sure see is in a quiet place with no onlookers other than yourself, this will make her feel safer. Short walks around the garden can help with labour in my experience. Also make sure you have the vets phone number handy just in case. I trust you have all the relevent equipment in your welping kit.

Good luck
