No, sorry, but whereabouts do you live? I was born and brought up in Eton, and went to Slough High School - sadly no more- then my first job was at Eton Rural District Council offices, in Arbour Hill, Slough - beautiful building, my sister tells me they're just about to demolish that...then Nurse Training at Taplow- Canadian Red Cross Memorial Hospital - You've guessed it, no longer there either. So much of my past wiped out...:-( :-( :-(

No, sorry, I was living in London then (married a Londoner!). I did do the first part of my midwifery training there, though, but in 1965 - so probably you were still at school! Just think, all those babies I delivered then will be 40 this year....It was a lovely place, though, wasn't it? It was so beautiful in the summer with the fir trees, blue skies and white buildings, you could almost have imagined you were in Canada. Do you still live in the area now?
