Hi, Yes there are 2 ringcraft training sessions that I know off.  If you can dirve there is a meeting on Monday night at Torrisolme in Morecambe at 8.00pm at the Methodist Church at the back of Morecambe Road (Not the one by the park), also a really good one on Friday night at 7.30pm at Crag Bank Village Hall, if you head towards Carnforth from Bolton-le-Sands come to the little island before going into Carnforth turn left and go over railway bridge turn immediately right the hall is on you right.  Very popular and most informative.

Many thanks, had been told there was one at Crag Bank - but didn't know for sure or the time/date. Although I live near Torrisholme - you sound like you think the other is possibly better ?

I used to go to both!  It's an extra opportunity to socialise your pup/dog.  What breed do you have?

errrm.....will have, is probably more accurate.......

a Red/White Border Collie bitch who is not quite 3 weeks yet !........so a little while before we get her  and a bit longer before we can take her anywhere...

Oh thats lovely, have you seen her already then.  Margaret Pennington at Hest Bank Kennels runs very good puppy classes, training club and agility classes too.

Yup.....went down to the breeders last weekend, saw our pup + brothers and her mum .

We thought that the socialisation/training of ringcraft and our own efforts from the earliest possible age would be good for her. We've never shown before - in fact we've only ever had rescue 'mutts' before. But with the ringcraft training we could keep our options open if we decide we wish to show her in the future. She's certainly got the pedigree, whether she has the temperament or the 'quality' we'd have to find out......

Margaret's classes won't limit your options for showing :)  I have always taken my pups to her and she understands well that you may not wish to have a pup that sits down every time you stop :)  It's just another outing and opportunity to socialise pup and show her off!  I would do them all.

Hi,  I have used Margret's training classes as well and she is very good.  Your pup sounds lovely. I use one for my Labrador that I dont show and the one at Crag Bank for the other one.  Both Torrisolme and Crag Bank are good, but if you have larger dog the space at Crag Bank is better, but, for all round they are both good.  Both are very friendly and helpful.  Look forward to seeing you at ine or the other.
