My son has wanted us to buy a longhaired labrador setter ever since we lost our life long friend "Fido" a 19 year old mungrel. Barnaby (our son) still has "Fido's" photograph against his bed, even though he died 2 years ago. As our son Barnaby is now 12 year I know he will be a good and attentive lover of a new pup. And we also miss having four legs running around.

Question: could you recommend a local breeder who would have a good type male labrador Setter pup for sale in the few months.

flatcoated retriever are some time call black setter bye the publie that dont know their breeds,i had a big argument once about my black fcr this lady stating it was a black setter and at the time stand next to me was my gordon setter ,two different type on gundogs.

i think the 1st post is for a flatcoated retriever.

Guest, have you seen a lady walking round Belper with these dogs?  They are Flatcoated Retrievers and they belong to my friend!
