Hi, I have just joined and firstly i would like to say how wonderful i think you all are. I have been reading the posts and found all the information very interesting. My girl Lucy is on day 65 and has started in labour this evening. She started loosing mucus yesterday and at 7:20 tonight her waters started to come away. I am so very excited and scared at the same time if that makes sense?  I know we are in for a long nite i just wish i could help her.
She is a 3 year old and this is her first litter not sure what else to add .......... thanks for taking the time to read this post

I will indeed!! i am shattered already i only got an hours sleep last night. I have been sleeping with her in the whelping room for the last few nights and she decided last night every time i layed down she wanted to dig under me!! Thanks for the support

No news as yet she is being so good bless her. Im just finding it so hard because i am so excited i guess she will get down to it when she is ready!!! I have my whelping kit out everything is ready i just want them now!!!!

They will soon be here, i want mine now but only on day 47 so got a while to wait!!!, but the time goes so quick and you will soon be chasing them around cleaning and feeding and finding new homes and then when its all over you will probably sit down with a big glass of wine and say "never again" but within a week when you seem to have too much time on your hands you will be wanting to do it all again!!!!

I feel like a child on christmas eve!! and they still havent arrived i havent stopped smiling since her waters started to come away.......
i know i am going to get so attached to the little darlings already it is going to be so hard when its time for them to go into the world to bring happiness to other families. I have pre booked my mum to be here when the time comes as i know i wont be able to say goodbye infront of people.

first pup born at 1:15.......boy
second born at 1:45.........girl
third unfortunatly was stillborn and was a male who we have named rocky
fourth pup born at3:30.............girly girl
fifth pup born at 4:00................ huge girly girl
All are doing just fine Lucy about to deliver the next one how shocked will my kids be when they get up!!!!!
All pups appear to be healthy and mum is doing a grand job
eeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk so very happy
poor little rocky we will put him in our garden of rememberance later on after we have been to the vets

we now have 8 !!!!
3 boys and 5 girlies
they are great and Lucy is a natural i am so pleased i cant tell you how much.
The washer has  been on since 1:30am and i have no towels left! i can feel one more so with the one she lost that will make 10 bless her she has worked so hard. I am buzzing so much i have had 1 hours sleep in 48!!
