Just looking now to insure my new GSD pup. I've had a good quote from Sainsburys, with excellent cover (I read ALL the small print) lifetime cover, no limit on condition etc. Has anyone experience of Sainsburys insurance please? I was also looking at More Than, but just saw the post about the hike in premiums! That's made me prefer Sainsburys. Any feedback good or bad much appreciated!
Thanks all
Kat
Hi Kat
Check with your local vet if they would invoice Sainsburys direct or if you would have to pay then reclaim the amount. We have Pet Plan and didn't have to settle the bill after a big heart operation, they invoiced them direct.

I have pet plan too, havnt used it yet fingers crossed, but my friend who has a bulldog used it 3 times for eye opps, and they were great with them. just gave the form in and they did the rest.

I was looking for insurance for one of mine and settled on Sainsbury's. I looked at More Than too as the cover and cost was almost the same. The only main difference I could see was that Sainsbury's excess was smaller, so I opted for them. Lifetime insurance for just under £10 per month, I'm very pleased.

Working on the basis that if you make a claim, the next years premiums will almost certainly be increased anyway, I took the increased excess option with M&S, with an excess of £70 per claim it comes out at £8.70 per month. Insurance is underwritten by Axa.
