Hi all
I am perusing all the various vetbed products out on the market and was wondering whether any of you have used either the Mink vetbed or the Thermo vetbed, and if you have is it good, and why is it good?
Many thanks.
We have thermo vet bed for one of our cats, she has a perminently dislocated hip and is now well in to double figures, (all happened before we rehomed her) so is getting quite creaky. She has hardly left it all winter, so it must be rather good, well unless we have lit the fire!

If you are getting a GSD, I doubt whether the warming properties of the vetbed will be too important :) Our Aussie , when she was a pup (we got her at the end of the June), usually kicked the vet bed out of the way and lay on the plastic tray in her crate :D :D

:) what a sweetie...however our ground floor is like a fridge!!! and for a wee puppy I just want to make sure he's okay.
Will soon find out whether I'm just being an overprotective mum LOL

She's much the same still at 3 :) Although she has vet bed in her crate (she still sleeps in it with the door open), she will often just lie on the tiles, particularly in warm weather :)

Are you putting the vetbed on a tiled floor ? I have some bits for the floor, that have a rubber-ridged backing that prevent it slipping and rucking up :)

Thanks Daisy, he's going to have his own den in the form of a black crate - heaven forbid if anything happened to him while we were sleeping :(
Someone recommended a non slip vetbed for inside of a crate, not sure if it is necessary if I get a snug fitted one perhaps.
I'm thinking Vetbed gold but I'm not sure what ingredients are in 'permafresh', they say it's non toxic but don't ellaborate further.
ARGHHH!

Personally I wouldn't use anything expensive as the pup might chew it :) I don't use the non-slip inside Tara's crate :)
