Ive been given the chance to go to spain for REALLY cheap, and its just what I need since splitting with my OH.  The problem is my boys, the holiday is this friday for a week so I cant put them into kennels because they havent had their kennel cough vaccine, the lady who used to look after them has now moved to Yorkshire ( its the effect they have on people :D :D ) my ex OH said he would love to look after them but I really dont want him to as he would have to live in my house and to be honest in trying to break all ties with him for my own sanity :(

Does anyone have any ideas ?  I cant really afford a house sitter, I dont mind them going to someone elses house but it has to be someone that I trust :)

Just out of interest what sort of prices do these sitters charge. I usually look after a friends dog in July but cannot do it this time so this might be an option for them.

I used Animals Aunts for the 1st time last August when I went to my daughters wedding.  Only comment to make for my sitter is 'excellent'.  They keep with the routine animals are used to, walk clean and generally spend 24/7 with them, and keep up with any basic training.   At £50 per day I do not think it was expensive as I had 5 dogs at that time and 2 were pups, so at £10per day each, it was extremely well worth it.  Also my house was cleaner when I returned that it was when I left. :)  I would certainly use them again.

Just by chance going through the yellow pages I have found someone who cares for them in her own home - sorted :)

and she feeds BARF :D

now just waiting for my manager to approve my holiday ..........
