Is this a new dog?  In all your other posts you had a Staffie?
Dawn.

If you do have a staffie, then you should really know better than to call it a 'Pit' :(
- By ilovemygirls [gb] Date 13.05.05 09:51 UTC
must be another dog cos the staffie is only 20weeks in the other post
- By Moonmaiden Date 13.05.05 10:20 UTC
The other dog was 20 weeks old on 10th March which would make it around 7 months old now

Aren't pit bulls illegal in this country now? or am I mistaking this for another dog?
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 13.05.05 12:29 UTC
They are indeed illegal, Sarah. But so is heroin, and everyone knows that's available too.
- By Sarah Gorb [gb] Date 13.05.05 12:35 UTC
That's a fair comment... :(
- By Tessies Tracey Date 13.05.05 13:09 UTC
pit bull 'type' dogs are indeed, and yes fair comment, doesn't stop them being around.  But I still say that the OP could have used phraseology more carefully!
- By Carla Date 13.05.05 13:32 UTC
I would have thought that true owners of true "pitbull types" would be considerably more discreet in respect, and fear, for their breed.

Makes me believe that those who shout about owning "pitbulls" probably just own big staffs :D
- By Tessies Tracey Date 13.05.05 13:39 UTC
Agreed!

Or big ego's!

:)  Plain old ignorance kind of springs to mind too!
- By Tigerlily [gb] Date 13.05.05 13:48 UTC
Agreed, but aren't we just fueling this post then? ? ?
- By Tessies Tracey Date 13.05.05 13:50 UTC
Yes, you're absolutely right!  OP hasn't even come back on the subject anyway! :)
- By lel [gb] Date 13.05.05 21:27 UTC
Well I wish they wouldnt for my breeds sake
- By Sarah Gorb [gb] Date 13.05.05 13:51 UTC
The one thing I don't understand is how people don't know the breed of the dog they own!
- By Carla Date 13.05.05 13:53 UTC
i suppose it depends if they want to imagine their ford focus as a ferrari ;)
- By michelled [gb] Date 13.05.05 14:08 UTC
or their 2 inches is 8!
- By Carla Date 13.05.05 14:10 UTC
:D
- By Vicki [gb] Date 13.05.05 15:40 UTC
You know that's why women can't park don't you?  'Cos men are always telling us that 6" is really 8" :)
- By Blondiflops [gb] Date 13.05.05 15:54 UTC
:D
- By Tigerlily [gb] Date 13.05.05 17:05 UTC
