Just took my westies puppies for thier first trim, the groomers I use also breed westies asked me loads of questions about where I got them what thier lines where etc.
They commented that if I decided to show them they would probably beat there dogs in the ring this has got me thinking "Do I Want To Start Showing"?
Where do I start never even thought of doing anything like this but don't know the first thing about showing or dog shows.

Best place to start is to look for your local ringcraft training classes where they will teach both you and your dogs what to do.  Another good place to start is to look for companion (formerly exemption) dog shows just to get some practice in.  These are much more informal and not so expensive (usually £1 - £1.50 a class) so if you don't like it or your puppies don't take to it you have not lost too much money (although i am not sure what open shows are now).

Don't know what area you are in but i know of quite a few ring training classes in the Berkshire area.

Worth speaking to the breeder.
