Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Weim Rescue in Europe?

Hi List, I hope you can help.  I live in South Africa my X-husband at great cost moved to Belguim with our 2 Weimaraner females (one is spayed 3 years old, the other is not though she is now over 5 yrs).  Here in South Africa we had a very different life but he decided the dogs should go with him.  Now he has been there for over 2 years and has met a woman ... the dogs will not fit into their future life and his elderly father refuses to keep the dogs.  I am not sure if Zeeta & Malika will settle into a new home and it breaks my heart that there is nothing I can now do for them.  They will not be able to be seperated Zeeta has impecable manners, exceptionally well trained but Malika is a hooligan she was still very young when we divorced and my X let her do what ever she wanted.  This is a last ditch attempt for advice because I honesly think it is fairer to these 2 Weims to have them put down (I know I sound heartless) but finding them both a home where they can go together ... what do you think?  Perhaps you could also give me some Weim rescue contact info that I can pass onto him?????  Regards Leanne
