Topic Other Boards / Foo / Stain on carpet - help !!!
- By Vicki [gb] Date 10.05.05 13:52 UTC
What a plonker. The other day I was destractedly removing the old candle from my smelly oil burner, and knocked the whole shooting match on the bloody floor.  Oil is dark brown, carpet is pale blue - aarrgghh - suggestions to remove said oil would be appreciated.  I tried Mr. Muscle (as this removes grease from most anything else) but am still left with a nice large oil stain.  Of course, it didn't just go in the one spot - it was spread over about 8 inches - damn!  Help please - carpet is only a few months old........:(

Have been racking brains on where I bought this.  A sunday market in the pound baskets!!!! bought a few really small tubes, but last for ever and I prefer it for soaking voils to machine washing.  Brilliant for removing indian takeaway splodges ;) )))

Thanks ppl - will check Woolies.  Delighted it can remove curry stains - most of my t-shirts have them, thanks to my weekly takeaway which is eaten on a tray on my lap (and stomach, and chest LOL)

Cheers :)
