My 6 month old newf Odin, amazed me yesterday.
He has been laughed at in dog training for the last 3 months.
Lets just say he is very laid back. When we do 'down and stay', he has a little sleep, but then it is very hard to wake him up to do his recall. :)
Anyway yesterday he passed his good citizen bronze and silver.
Probably take us a good couple of years to get the gold though :)
I am a very proud mum this morning.

Congratulations Odin! well done to both of you. We are the same, me and my bulldog pup get laughed at at puppy class but I am determined to get there! May just take a little longer ;-) Really pleased for you both :-)

I've got a retriever just like that. She likes to cat-nap inbetween exercises!

I have a st bernard and it was very funny when we went training classes, she fell asleep in most of them, it didnt interest her. esp if there was no food involved LOL, she had to stop halfway thru the first classes as she came on heat? and we went bk and she just slept thru the exercises she thought she knew already and had done in the first sessions!
At the end we did a little competition to see how well they had all learnt, and Chloe didnt win, but i was well surprised what she learnt and remebered, i am a very proud mum too! :)
