Hi
Could anyone tell me what happened to the black and tan Am Cocker that was in Ireland, I think his name was Afterglow Dirt Digger. I saw him once but haven't seen him since, such a lovely dog. Is he still being shown?

thanks

P.S. also, does anyone know where I can get a copy of this years american cocker judging at crufts, I missed it this year and would love to be able to see it.

Hi Guest, as far as I know both Afterglow Dirk Diggler and Afterglow Dick Dastardly are in the USA.  Their brother Sh Ch Afterglow Douglas Fashion is doing very well here in the UK just now. I believe one or other of the ones in the USA will be returning to the UK at some point, but I'm not sure which. Maybe Gwen will have more information.

The Crufts results are on www.fossedata.co.uk but unfortunately does not include video footage like I saw of the judging of the Westminster Show in America.

Hope that helps,

Dawn R. (American Cocker enthusiast).

There is mention of Dirk Diggler in the breed notes of this weeks Our Dogs. It seems I was wrong, he actually went to New Zealand, and was 'made up' within a matter of weeks in April. The other two brothers, Dick Dastardly, and Douglas Fashion, were each also 'made up' during the month of April. One in the USA, and one in the UK. Quite an acheivement for their breeder eh?
