Does anybody know what decides the shape of the ears.. Are there dominant and recessive genes?

E.g

If the sire dog has half-prick ears and the dam has prick ears, would the pups all have half-prick ears or full prick ears, or 1 of each, or 50% prick and 50% half-prick?

They are such an interesting breed as they are so diverse, then you get the stupid people like me who try to understand them more but the more they try the more they get confused! It's bad enough with colour genetics, but I'll get there one day!!

Havent a clue but have one with floppy ears and one with pointy satellite ears.  His ears were flopping when we got them and did go fully up until he was about a year old.
