Topic Dog Boards / General / Flat coat with white armpits!
- By JessMonty [gb] Date 08.05.05 14:28 UTC
Hi, we have a beautiful 10ish week old flat coat whose coat is a beautiful, soft and rich black, apart from some white hairs in his armpits. Is this normal? is it acceptable?, do you think they will disapear when his adult coat comes through, or will they be there for life? any help appreciated. thanks.

Nothing to worry about at all. The white hairs are on most flatcoats somewhere or other. Mine has them between his toes on his back feet. but it really is not a big deal.

Not a problem, as Polly says.    The best working dogs are supposed to have white armpits!
