Topic Dog Boards / Health / A delicate problem

My young dachsie (16months)has been getting lumps on 'private part'.  They seem to come up and then go down by themselves - he has never had more than 2 at a time.  A couple have been slightly pussy but nothing much.  The vet is mystified and the antibiotics (1 week) haven't cleared it up.  I have posted this on another message board and one person had a similar problem with a younger dog but I am wondering if anyone else has come across this?  Any help much appreciated

Could it be an allergy? My partner got lumps on his skin when he pulled the hedging out when we put the new fence up. Never found out what it was he is allergic to but wearing long sleved t shirts etc to cover skin no more problem. Make a diary of events daily and when it occurs you might see a pattern.
