i think i'd be a little cautious before parting with any money,do you know of anyone else that has had a puppy imported  from this breeder, if not i would ask if he can put you in touch with any owners that have already done so,where did you find these puppys advertised,as i would be interested to take a look myself.

I would say don't pay! Why don't you save your money and buy a decent pup from where you are and don't pay for one that will coast you a fortune in vet bills. Even if it was genuine (which I very much doubt) don't forget about the 6 months quarantine. You'd be much better off going on waiting lists here - it'd be cheaper for a start.

This was also posted buy a guest a month ago

after reading emails from the man who was supposedly selling chihuahuas i realised it was a total scam.i asked for pictures of the pups and he sent me copied and pasted photos of all different types of chihuahua obviously from the internet,i then looked on the internet and read about scams from cameroon advertising dogs and what to look out for such as how to pay and it all applied to the man who was emailing me.i then found a website with a list of the scammers and saw the mans email adress there and he was selling yorkie puppies.so don't buy any pups from Cameroon! has anyone had any encounters with this?

DONT BUY FROM CAMEROON! There have also been some other posts about a man selling chi puppies for 320 it seems to me that this person is a puppy farmer.

Please please have a look somewhere else and buy a decent puppy by spending a little bit more. I can guarantee that you will spend more money in the long run if you go to a puppy farmer then if you buy for a good respectable breeder.

Don't forget that if these puppies even exist (which I very much doubt - unfortunately very many scammers use this area of the world) you'll have to pay £2000 or so for 6 months quarantine.

Hi,
This is a current scam that is going around because chihuahua's are so scarce just dont do it! Wait for a good puppy, there is no way you would know if the pedigree documents were real if it was even a full blooded chi plus I would never ever buy a puppy without seeing the mother and siblings. Get on some good breeders waiting lists, the pup could live for 20 years what is so wrong with waiting a few months.

just to let everyone know there is an ad in UK Classified about chihuahua pups from cameroon. personally i think its a scam and if it isnt why put a tiny pup through all that shipping and misery. Wait on a good breeders list.

All in all if you say that puppies are £2000 here and in Cameroon chi are £320 then you add on the £2000 for quarantine. It doesn't take a genius to work out that you could buy a good decent puppy here for £2000 and end up spending £2320. Don't forget how much it will coast for shipping. You will have to have the puppy in quarantine for 6 months. You also have to think about where the puppy came from. Was it bred for the money? (Which by the sounds of it was) What is the puppy's health like? And most importantly have you seen the parents? As that is so important when you by a puppy.

Please don't buy a pup from there but wait you have the money and go on a breeders list and wait for a lovely healthy puppy. Or you could always go to a rescue centre a get a lovely little dog. Please have a look here at the Chihuahua rescue page http://www.the-british-chihuahua-club.org.uk/Rescue/InterestAdopt.htm here you could give a Chihuahua a good home.

Just please please please don't go and buy a puppy from Cameroon.
